Tiger Woods Indoor Golf League

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s indoor golf league, TGL, faced a significant delay after the SoFi Center dome, which was still under construction for TGL matches, deflated on November 14, 2023. The league’s inaugural season, which was scheduled to begin January 9, 2024, has been postponed until the start of 2025.

The decision to delay the season was made after reviewing short-term solutions, potential construction timelines, player schedules, and the primetime sports television calendar.

Despite the delay, Woods and McIlroy remain optimistic about the future of TGL and are committed to building excitement for the league. The SoFi Center, located on the Palm Beach Gardens campus of Palm Beach State College, will be the home venue for TGL. The league has signed a multi-year media rights deal with ESPN to broadcast its events.
